I know this probably doesn’t clear up any confusion and it certainly doesn’t solve the Keyshot issue. (Incompatible plugins ought to be reported as such…usually in Rhino 5 for Mac). Since most RhinoCommon plugins will be compatible with both 5 and 6, you should be good. Ok, back to ~/Library/Application Support/McNeel/Rhinoceros/MacPlugIns …both Rhino 5 for Mac and Rhino 6 for Mac will attempt to load assemblies from this folder. From the File menu, select Open or Import to bring up unique options for the 3D data you need to import. Create a garment in VStitcher and dress the avatar Click the KeyShot plugin menu item to transfer the 3D data from VStitcher to. Once installed and activated, a KeyShot plugin menu will appear inside VStitcher in the plugin menu. But if you dig into those Plug-ins subfolders you will find settings files, but they should not contain assemblies that we load. The plugin is placed at the location of the default plugin folder KeyShot Plugin Menu. The latest version of KeyShot Rhino Plugin is currently unknown. I know it contains a subfolder called Plug-ins which is confusing to me. KeyShot Rhino Plugin is a Shareware software in the category Miscellaneous developed by Luxion. The ~/Library/Application Support/McNeel/Rhinoceros/6.0 folder is for settings. ~/Library/Application Support/McNeel/Rhinoceros/MacPlugIns is the folder for both Rhino 5 for Mac and Rhino 6 for Mac. In short, there is no version specific plugin folder. (So confusing that I sometimes forget what the situation is until I look at source again). Both products were sold through the ZBrush online store, although only the bridge plugin was actually developed by Pixologic, then the developer of ZBrush itself. The situation with ~/Library/Application Support/McNeel/Rhinoceros/ … is confusing. It cost 200 or 400, depending on whether you needed the feature set of the HD or Pro edition of KeyShot. I’m sorry to say that I don’t know what is going on with Keyshot, but I do want to (temporarily) clear up a bit of confusion.
